GTO is an association, the local tourist organisation operating since 2002 on the basis of the Act Prawo o Stowarzyszeniach [Law on Associations] and the Act of the Polish Tourist Organization. GTO members maybe legal and natural persons who realise the aims of the Association and declare and give assurance of active participation in achieving the aims.
Membership in the Gdańsk Tourist Organisation has many benefits, including participation in projects implemented by the GTO, free distribution of promotional material in tourist information points and at tourism fairs, discounts on publications in the website gdansk4u.pl, essential support.
