65-year-old Elton John is eccentric star of the world show business. British singer and pianist has scored more than 30 albums. In 1994, he was introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Elton John participated in many important music events. In 1986, on the parting concert of the Wham at the Wembley he performed with George Michael and sang the song "Candle in the Wind". In 1992 he took part in a concert dedicated to the memory of Freddie Mercury. With Axl Rosem he then performed "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "The Show Must Go On."
In 1995 he received an Oscar for the song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from the animated film "The Lion King." In 1996 Queen Elizabeth II awarded him the Order of the British Empire, and two years later gave him the rank of gentleman.
He visited Poland several times. The last time he occurred in May 2010 in Warsaw's Polonia stadium within the tour "Rocket Man Greatest Hits Tour".
