Pomerania in graphics... graphics in Pomerania... It is an exhibition, which was based on a collection of contemporary graphic art from the collections of National Museum in Gdańsk. This is the first so big presentation of contemporary Gdańsk graphic from the collections of the museum. The exhibition is divided into two parts.

On the exhibition will be presented works from the early post-war period, but also the subsequent years, until the eighties of the twentieth century. These are graphics depicting, theme - "telling" the contemporary story of Tri-City and Pomerania. This is a record of places, people, events, recording of the history and culture of the city and the region. This is an artistic material that allowed to create the plastic , "imaging" and very diverse – vision of the Tri-City and Pomerania. It is a story of artists about the post-war ruins of Gdańsk and its reconstruction, the historic landscape of the city on the canal - as reflected in the water, the picture of the summer resort in Sopot, the charming architecture, the season on the beach, festival of songs, it is also the image of Gdynia - port city open to the sea. It is also a picture of the sea and Pomeranian land, shipyards and machinery, images of "people of the sea" and the story of their daily work, is also a record of Solidarity - the time and phenomena relevant to the entire Poland, but inextricably connected with the coast.
