The exhibition is a review of works of graduates from the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, presenting a broad spectrum of creative possibilities: paintings, objects, installations, videos and animations. The diversity of artistic work is the result of an individual cooperation of student with teacher. The works presented on the exhibition have been chosen by us because of the exhibition considerations – each graduate in his defence of thesis presented more works. Despite the necessary selectivity it is still visible that each of graduate developed own language.

Among last year's graduates we can find the winners of nationwide competitions. Anna Wypych is the winner of the competition “Artystyczna Podróż Hestii” [Artistic Journe of Hestia] (First Prize in 2010), Emilia Wojszel in 2011 received “Nagroda Rektorów ASP” [Award of Rectors of the Academy of Fine Arts] at the National Exhibition of the best Diplomas. Sergiusz Powałka was awarded in International Art Workshop organized already for the tenth time by Marek Maria Pieńkowski Foundation in Pieńków.

The exhibition presents young artists and the EU university project. This project called “Increasing access to arts education through the improvement of infrastructure in the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts” will allow the next generation of young people develop in a modern university.

The exhibition is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund within the Programme Infrastructure and Environment.
